Planning Grounds™ is designed to help facilitate existing employee benefits. Counselors help navigate current benefits so that employees gain maximum utility from them. Planning Grounds does not manage or implement 401k’s, but we can provide education to better help you understand how this benefit will fit into your overall financial picture.

No, all of our planners are trained to provide sound advice and recommendations that are product agnostic. If you are seeking specific investment or product recommendations you can ask and possibly receive this service outside of the scope of your general benefit.

A recent pay stub and filling out our fact finder is extremely helpful to prepare for your meeting. It is also helpful to have statements for accounts, insurance policies, and debts that you may be responsible for but these are not required.

Bringing your spouse or significant other is encouraged.

Your planner is prepared to address budgeting, cash management, debt management, risk management, investment planning and a wide array of other financial topics. We are happy to help with a comprehensive overview of your finances or help answer specific questions when needed.

Yes, all information gathered is purely confidential. Your employer will only know if you use the benefit to track overall utilization.
